The ideaLABs offer free access to equipment for customers. We also have knowledgeable staff who can troubleshoot and guide people through the learning process.
Equipment Reservation
For specialized equipment like 3D printers, laser cutters, and embroidery machines, we recommend calling ahead to reserve your time slot. Users must have a Denver Public Library card to reserve equipment. Reservations are limited to 2 hours, once per week, to ensure equitable access.
To make a reservation:
- Contact your preferred ideaLAB
- Specify which equipment you need
- Bring your prepared files and materials
Drop-In Use
Some equipment is available for drop-in use on a first-come, first-served basis. Ask staff when you arrive for current availability.
Bambu Lab P2S 3D Printer
Available at all open ideaLABs.
All ideaLABs provide free PLA material for printing and 3D Modeling software.
