Denver Public Library has several studios throughout the city for customer use. Create a beat, record a song or podcast!
All studios require a valid Denver Public Library card for use, and there is no food or drink allowed inside any of the recording studios.
We encourage you to make a reservation for time in the recording studio by visiting or calling one of the branches listed below. Reservations can be made one at a time, up to 2 weeks in advance. Each reservation is no more than 2 hours.

How It Works
Reserve Your Time
Use of the recording studios are by reservation.
- Reservations are 2 hours, once per week
- Reservations can be made up to 2 weeks in advance
- A Denver Public Library card is required
- Call or visit one of the available branches above to book your session.
Create!
- Staff will help you get started.
- There is no food or drinks allowed in the studio at ant time.
- Save your work and clean up before your 2-hour session ends.

Reservation Use and Policies
To ensure safe and fair access:
- Check in with ideaLAB staff before using the studio.
- Late arrivals: reservations are canceled after 10 minutes.
- If the studio is unavailable due to maintenance, staff will notify you when possible
- Do not attempt to repair or disassemble studio hardware
- Studio lights must remain on for safety reasons.
- There is no food or drink allowed in the studio at any time.
- Unsafe behavior or refusal to follow staff instructions can result in loss of studio privileges.
