A walking audiobook club for readers in motion

Audionauts is a listening experience that unfolds outdoors. Part book club, part guided journey, each session invites you to move through a story while moving through the world around you.

We gather in parks across Denver following a shared route. Listen at your own pace through curated checkpoints and then return to reflect together.

This isn’t just about finishing a book. It’s about how stories land differently when you’re in motion.

Mission Overview

Each Audionaut session unfolds in three parts:

  1. Briefing: Begin with a short introduction to the audiobook, its themes, and the route.
  2. Audio Checkpoints: Move through the landscape while listening, with light prompts that connect the story to your surroundings.
  3. Mission Debrief: Return to share reflections, moments that stayed with you, and what shifted along the way.

Helpful Tips: 

  • Bring headphones or earbuds
  • Download the audiobook in advance
  • Walk at your own pace

 

2027 Schedule

Beginning in 2027, Audionauts will meet four times a year, each session shaped by the season and setting.
