Note: To ensure equal access to library materials, items that have reached their renewal limit must be checked in and made available to other library users for at least 24 hours before checking back out to the last borrower.
Prospector
Prospector items already have extended loan periods and are not eligible for further renewal.
Please keep the Prospector bookmark with the item. Item must be returned to a Denver Public Library location. Lost/Damage fee: $45.
WorldCat Interlibrary Loans
Email or call (720-865-1718) the Interlibrary Loan office prior to the item’s due date and we’ll let you know if the lending library will allow a renewal.
Downloadable eBooks and Audio eBooks from Overdrive
- Checkout period: 7, 14, or 21 days (user preference)
- Renew option available 3 days before a title expires unless requested by another borrower

Kanopy Streaming Video
- 24 play tickets per month, and tickets do not roll over to the following month

- Shorts (single titles with a running time of 30 minutes or less): $1 per play, 1 ticket

- <1 hour: 1 ticket, 3 days
- 1-2 hours: 2 tickets, 3 days
- 2-4 hours: 3 tickets, 3 days

- 10+ hours: 5 tickets, 7 days
