This Saturday, March 28, the Denver Public Library's Plaza and Services to New Immigrants Initiative will partner with History Colorado to offer free activities and museum tours for New Americans and their families.

Women of the Chicano Movement

Please join us on March 1, at 2 p.m. at the Central Library to hear Dr. Priscilla Falcon from the University of Northern Colorado speak. Dr. Falcon is the director of Hispanic Studies at the University of Northern Colorado. She is a Chicana activist who has spent her career promoting greater awareness of the Chicano culture and of the injustices committed against its population.

Join us for Storytime at the History Colorado Center

History Colorado Center

The Denver Public Library and the History Colorado Center are teaming up for storytime!

Held in the museum's interactive exhibits, this storytime will focus on farm life, animals, cowboys, Colorado history, and more!

Wednesday, August 7, 9:30 a.m.

Free adult admission to the History Colorado Center is available at the Central Children's Library while supplies last, and children 5 and under always get in to the History Colorado Center for free. No registration is required, ages 2-5 recommended.
