I got to make this crochet tapestry as part of a pattern test for designer Ty Bailie. This species of frog, the green and black dart frog, holds a special place in my heart. I used to see these frogs once in a while during field work for my PhD in Central America. They are perfect little gems of the rainforest. To see one in the wild is an absolute joy - it’s hard to believe such a beautiful and bright animal is out there, hopping about the forest floor, looking flawless.
