Indigenous Peoples’ Heritage Month

November is Indigenous Peoples' Heritage Month, a month-long celebration of Indigenous joy, community, and ongoing resistance. It's estimated that there are more than 370 million Indigenous people spread across 70 countries throughout the world. Denver, Colorado is located on the traditional land of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho people, who have been here since time immemorial.

We aim for these spaces and offerings to be a source of pride and empowerment for Indigenous community members, and to be a place to learn for non-Native community members. It's our hope that with this month we can provide a starting point, a place to begin, and that moving forward we collectively continue to celebrate every single Indigenous person and community past, present, and future as notable and worthy, regardless of the time of year. Thank you for joining us in this celebration!
