A monthly book celebration for kids in kindergarten* though 5th grade which meets the third Thursday of every month at 4-5 pm!  We will explore a book, series or theme every month and do activities and crafts related to what we read. 

This month the Front Range Chamber Players present a musical fairytale of  The Emperor and the Nightingale.  This is a traditional story by Hans Christian Andersen brought to life with musical illustration and spoken narration by Colorado composer, David Mulilikin.  The tale of The Emperor and the Nightingale features the flute, violin, viola, cello, and percussion providing a highly engaging classical music experience for the audience.  Music and reading lovers of all ages are encouraged to attend!     

 Denver Public Library has several different titles you can choose to read at home from board books to a collection of tales by Hans Christian Andersen.
