Dia de los Muertos-A Living Tradition, Grades: All ages

Skeletons everywhere! Why is no one scared? The origins and traditions of Dia de los Muertos sets it apart from other global celebrations during the same time of year—like Halloween. Students will learn about what makes Dia de los Muertos, and by extension Mexico, unique among others, and they will decorate sugar skjulls traditionally displayed during this time.

After School Is Cool program with gaming, crafts, presenters and projects for children ages 8-12. Up to 20 children per day, first come first serve. No registration required.
