In addition to its current Career Online High School program, Denver Public Library is proud to now offer an additional program to a limited number of students to earn their high school diploma with the possibility to earn college credit in the Excel Adult High School program.

About the Program
We are honored to offer qualifying Denver Residents a limited number of full scholarships to the Excel Adult High School program, a great option for adults who are looking for a flexible online school diploma program and the opportunity to earn college credit from any American Council on Education (ACE).
In this online curriculum, each student is connected with an on demand mentor for support and has access to coursework in over 100 languages, customizable course schedules, highly qualified instructors, and one-on-one tutoring available. All classes are online, self-guided, and self-paced.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be 19 years of age or older and motivated
- City and County of Denver residents
- Must have completed 8th grade or higher
- Have a Denver Public Library Card
- Be able to spend 10 hours or more per week to meet program requirements
- Have access to a device with internet to access all online courses
Excel Adult High School students will be expected to complete at least one college credit from the graduation requirements through the Denver Public Library program offering.
Enrollment Process
In order to enroll, students must fill out the Get Started interest form and complete the Prerequisite Course, Life Skills successfully. After completing the prerequisite course you will be invited to an enrollment interview. There is no cost to students as they meet requirements to earn the scholarship. A determination will be made by the Library’s enrollment team after the interview regarding scholarship award. If a student receives a scholarship, it will cover full access and support to Excel Adult High School.
