Denver Public Library is committed to providing fair and equal access for all people who wish to use the library and its collection with adaptive technologies and Services for Persons with Disabilities.

Event Accommodations

To request ASL, CART, or other disability related accommodations, contact programs@denverlibrary.org or call 720-865-1111 with a minimum five (5) business day notice.

Language Support

Everyone has the right to receive library information in their language for free. Read Denver Public Library's Language Access Plan for more information.

In alignment with Colorado legislation pertaining to individuals with disabilities HB21-1110, Denver Public Library is committed to ensuring equitable access for individuals with disabilities to all library programs, services, and activities, including those offered through digital platforms. DPL is working towards compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA, which sets the standard for web accessibility.
