The Denver Public Library Volunteer Program conducts criminal background checks on applicants for volunteer roles to ensure a prospective volunteer is suitable for a particular DPL volunteer assignment. The criminal background check includes, but is not limited to, records from any criminal justice agency in any federal, state and/or county jurisdictions. Successful completion of the criminal background check is a qualification for all DPL volunteer roles.I hereby authorize Denver Public Library to obtain my criminal history from its agents.
