This exhibit is part of the Rocky Mountain Map Society's Map Month. The state of Colorado has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, but because of its rugged terrain, it also historically was one of the most difficult places to accurately depict. Maps from Denver Public Library's map collection will be on display to accompany Map Month lectures and to showcase the various ways cartographers have rendered the complex topography of the Centennial State.

To request a sign language interpreter or real time captioning via CART Services, please contact SignLanguageServices@denvergov.org or call 720-913-8487, with a minimum three (3) business day notice. To request other accommodations, please contact programs@denverlibrary.org.

Automated voice-to-text captioning is available for all virtual programs. Need help getting set up?
