Visualizing Colorado: Maps & Views of the Centennial State

Program Type:

Program Description

Event Details

This exhibit is part of the Rocky Mountain Map Society's Map Month. The state of Colorado has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, but because of its rugged terrain, it also historically was one of the most difficult places to accurately depict. Maps from Denver Public Library's map collection will be on display to accompany Map Month lectures and to showcase the various ways cartographers have rendered the complex topography of the Centennial State.

All virtual programs have automated voice to text captioning available. If the program you are attending is hosted with Google Meet, view these instructions. To request a sign language interpreter or live captions for a program hosted on Zoom or in person, contact or 720-913-8487, with a three (3) business-day notice.
