Program Description

Event Details

Coming to America and deciding to naturalize were important events in a person's life, and the 20th century documentation created from these experiences provide details that few other records can give.

This case study demonstrates how one man’s naturalization influenced his Italian born son and wife’s life experiences. Learn how naturalization laws changed in the 20th century and to link immigration records together to discover more records such as C-files and A-files. People with an intermediate knowledge of genealogy will be best served by this program.

This is a virtual event presented on Zoom.
