Event Details

Memories in the Making is a watercolor class for people experiencing Alzheimer's, dementia, or other forms of memory loss.

This class will help you find the artist within yourself! In each session, the teacher will guide you in creating imaginative and colorful watercolor paintings. Everyone is welcome -- you don't need painting experience to participate. We provide you with the opportunity to paint and explore and find joy in the creative process. This is a drop-in class. No registration is required, so come anytime! Snacks and paint supplies will be provided.

Memories in the Making is a "memory-friendly" class that offers creative engagement to people with memory challenges, mild cognitive impairment, or Alzheimer's/dementia. Families, friends, and caregivers are welcome to enjoy the class as well.

Email olderadults@denverlibrary.org for more information. We hope to see you there!
