Los Mocochetes es una banda Chicana de Funk de Denver, CO. Este colorido elenco de personajes fusiona letras de canciones ingeniosamente atrevidas,  cargadas de temas políticos y sociales, melodías divertidas y travesuras escénicas de alta energía para crear una experiencia inmersiva como nunca antes visto. Al igual que un machete, que se puede usar como herramienta para construir o como arma para matar, han elegido usar su música para inspirar y fomentar un cambio social positivo, ¡y se divierten muchísimo en el escenario! La música es medicina, la risa es medicina, la comunidad es medicina. ¡Ven y recibe tu medicina!

COVID PROTOCAL: In order to protect the health of our staff, vendors, artists and guests, we have implemented the following Safety Protocols for the RiNo Art Park Grand Opening weekend: The RiNo Art District requires that all staff, artists, vendors and guests 12 and older are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a negative Covid test within the last 72 hours before attending the grand opening events September 24th-26th, 2021.

Los Mocochetes are a Chicano Funk band from Denver, CO. This colorful cast of characters fuses thoughtfully brazen, socio/politically charged song lyrics, groovilicious melodies and high-energy stage antics to create an immersive experience unlike anything you've ever seen before. Much like a machete, which can be used either as a tool to build or a weapon to kill, they have chosen to use their music to inspire and encourage positive social change, and they have a ton of fun along the way!
