Program Description

Event Details

The Ford-Warren Branch Library and History Colorado are collaborating in preserving and sharing stories in the community. We are inviting former and current Whittier Neighborhood Community Members to join us in a community memory workshop and share their experiences of living and working in the neighborhood.

The workshop will employ a variety of strategies to jog memories and facilitate storytelling within the group. We will continue with several workshops for community members to create and facilitate their collective participation to gather stories, and include recording oral histories, and photo scanning. This is the fifth meeting.
