Denver Public Library is collaborating with Denver Field Ornithologists to celebrate our feathered friends. In this first presentation, Garth Spellman, curator of ornithology at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, talks about birds’ inner-ear mechanics. Research reveals how environmental change, both recent and ancient, has driven evolution of birds' anatomy and their hearing capacity.
