Thanks to restaurants like Zahav and cookbooks like Jerusalem, Israeli cuisine is exploding in the U.S. Furthering this craze is James Beard-winning chef Alon Shaya and his cookbook Shaya, which explores both Israeli food and his journey back to it. Shaya, who opens Safta restaurant in Denver this August, will join food writer Amanda M. Faison to discuss the cuisine’s delicious evolution. Pick up Shaya and come enjoy tasty nibbles.
