Film professor John Anzalone hosts this lively discussion of the stunning, Ingmar Bergman classic, The Seventh Seal (1957). A knight returning home from the Crusades finds his country ravaged by the Black Plague. When Death comes for him, he challenges the Grim Reaper to a game of chess for his life. The film is in Swedish with English subtitles.
