The Denver Public Library does not carry state or federal tax forms. Library staff members do not provide tax advice. Tax forms may be printed from the web or requested by phone at the numbers noted below. Note that tax help sites may require an appointment.

Report Phishing and Online Scams
The IRS doesn't initiate contact with taxpayers by email, text messages or social media channels to request personal or financial information. This includes requests for PIN numbers, passwords or similar access information for credit cards, banks or other financial accounts.

Save time and money by attending a free guided virtual or in-person Do-It-Yourself tax session where an IRS-certified staff (bilingual staff available at designated locations) volunteer can help you complete your taxes online in a secure environment.

Free File Federal Returns
The IRS has a partnership agreement with various tax preparers to offer free e-filing of federal/state returns for qualified low-to-moderate income taxpayers. In addition, all taxpayers are eligible to use Free File fillable forms, which are online versions of paper forms designed for people comfortable preparing their own tax returns.
