Classroom Visits and Tours

The Central Children’s Library has reopened and is available for tours Monday & Tuesday 1-3 p.m., Wednesday & Thursday 1-6 p.m. Due to ongoing construction, we are unable to offer tours of other areas of the Central Library at this time.

Library staff are available for tours of our branches, or virtual visits to your school or group.

If you would like to set up a tour at a branch please contact the branch library location. Central Library tour requests can be submitted through the form below. A library staff member will contact you to confirm the date, time, and details of your tour or classroom visit. Requests will be prioritized in the order in which they are received, based on staff capacity and the nature of the request.

Denver Public Library welcomes classes to our spaces with or without prior communication with staff, though advance notice through this form is strongly encouraged. We are unable to provide private space or guarantee staff time without 2 weeks notice or more.

Self-guided Tours: Groups are always welcome to visit the library and explore on their own. Here are links to some informative and fun materials that can help you organize your own group visit:

Virtual Visits: Please submit the Virtual Classroom Visits request form.

Please note: Use this form to request a school visit to the Central Library at 10 W. 14th Avenue Parkway. Contact the branch library location for all other school visits.

Does your group need to register for library cards?
