Dinosaur Ridge
Dinosaur Ridge is an iconic scientific site and outdoor museum located in Morrison, Colorado. Featuring 100-million-year-old dinosaur and crocodile bones, tracks, and fossils, Dinosaur Ridge has been ranked by a panel of leading paleontologists as the #1 dinosaur track site in the nation. The world’s first Stegosaurus was unearthed at the site in 1877, which prompted Colorado to name the Stegosaurus the official state fossil. Dinosaur Ridge was recognized for its historical and scientific significance when it was designated the Morrison Fossil Area National Natural Landmark (NNL) by the National Park Service in 1973.
Each library pass admits up to 4 guests including 4 Audio Tours and entry into the Trek Through Time Exhibit Hall. Guests can purchase bus tours at a discount of 10%.
Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum
Transferred from the United States Air Force to a group of volunteers in 1994, Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is located in Hangar #1 of the former Lowry Air Force Base in eastern Denver, Colorado. Today, the museum boasts more than 182,000 square feet of hangar space full of iconic aircraft, space vehicles, artifacts, military uniforms and much more. Visitors can also experience thrilling flight simulators, discover various educational programs and participate in dozens of exciting museum sponsored events.
Each library pass admits up to 4 guests (children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult) to the main institution at Lowry (open daily) and to the Exploration of Flight (closed Tuesday - Thursday).
