Museum Passes and Cultural Tours
The Denver Public Library has partnered with nearby museums and cultural institutions to offer admission for DPL cardholders. The pass program is designed to give local residents who might not otherwise visit cultural institutions in the greater Denver area, the chance to visit nearby museums and cultural institutions.
Book a pass online up to 30 days in advance and print your confirmation to gain entry to the museum.
A permanent DPL library card in good standing is required to make a reservation; the card holder may be asked to presnt a valid ID at the museum.

At Butterfly Pavilion you can frolic with 1,600 free-flying tropical butterflies in Wings of the Tropics, hold the famous Rosie the tarantula in the Crawl-A-See-Em, dive into the wonder of the coral reefs and other ocean invertebrates in Water's Edge, and explore the unique and diverse invertebrate habitats that exist here in Colorado.

Denver Center for the Performing Arts Behind the Scenes Tours
Go behind the scenes to see how everything comes together. Expertly guided tours are 90 minutes long and take you beyond the stage as you explore costume shops, design studios, and Denver Performing Arts Complex venues. Tours run on Mondays and Saturdays.

Denver Firefighters Museum
Housed in the original Firehouse Number 1 since 1909, the Denver Firefighters Museum offers outstanding exhibits on the history of firefighting in Denver, focusing on the Denver Fire Department.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science offers natural history exhibitions, planetarium shows, activities, and lectures that explore the wonders of science, Colorado, Earth, and the universe.
Admission is valid for up to 7 in total party. This one day membership provides discounts on special ticketed exhibitions and 10% off at the Shop & Cafe. Book a pass
Ride an open trolley car along the scenic South Platte Greenway and see Denver from an open-air “Breezer”. The Denver Trolley operates from Confluence Park (REI), past the Downtown Aquarium, Children’s Museum of Denver, and Mile High Stadium.
Admission is valid for two riders. Although you will be prompted to select a specific day, tickets may be used on any operating day, Thursdays through Mondays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., now through September 2. (Broncos shuttle excluded). Book a pass
Denver Zoo is a leader in connecting people to the awe and importance of wild animals while providing unparalleled care, educational experiences, and local and global conservation efforts that help save wild places and wildlife. Denver Zoo invites you to join them for a memorable day with your family exploring the beautifully landscaped campus on the north end of Denver’s City Park.
Admission is valid for a party of up to 4. A valid ID is required for entry. Not valid for Zoo lights, after hours programs, classes and camps. Book a pass.

The Forney Museum of Transportation collects, preserves and displays artifacts related to historical transportation. Our collection highlights include the Union Pacific "Big Boy" locomotive and Amelia Earhart's 1923 Kissel "Gold Bug."

History Colorado Center
Designed to ignite imaginations of all ages about Colorado history, the History Colorado Center is a hub for civic engagement and creates a rich experience for visitors through exhibits and programs that blend technology, media, environments and artifacts.
Admission is valid for 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 18. Book a pass.

Molly Brown House Museum
Historic Denver’s Molly Brown House Museum enhances Denver’s unique identity by telling the story of Margaret “Molly” Brown’s activism, philanthropy and passion through educational programs, exhibits, and stewardship.
Library passes can be redeemed for tickets to the next available tour on the date of visit. Please note that some tour times each day may be sold out or unavailable. See information on hours, parking, and accessibility.
Admission is valid for a party of up to 4. All tours last approximately 45 minutes and generally start every 30 minutes, beginning on the hour and half hour. Book a pass.
Museum of Contemporary Art Denver
Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (MCA Denver) explores the art and culture of our time through rotating exhibitions and public educational programs.
Admission is valid for 2 adults. Children 18 and under are always admitted for free. Book a pass.
Each cardholder may reserve a pass once every 365 days at Denver Zoo, and once every 182 days at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science; all other passes may be reserved every 30 days. Check the museum or cultural institution's website prior to your visit for unexpected closures or special events.
