Join us to learn about Sister Rosetta Tharpe, the African American woman who helped pioneer Rock and Roll music! Hosted by artist Chloe Duplessis, whose art exhibition "Sister Rosetta" is on display in the third floor gallery of Blair-Caldwell Library, this presentation delves into the life, racial difficulties, and remarkable achievements of this trailblazing Black woman often omitted from canons of American music history.
