You can reduce your risk of developing Alzheimer's/dementia. Learn how in this presentation from Dr. Brianne Bettcher, Associate Professor and Neuropsychologist in the Department of Neurology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Bettcher will discuss the risk factors for dementia and talk about prevention strategies.

This event will take place on Zoom and is hosted by the CU Anschutz Multidisciplinary Center on Aging, the CU Anschutz Alzheimer’s and Cognition Center, the UCCS Aging Center, and the Denver Public Library. 

It is part of a series called Dementia Dialogues: A Path to Equity in Brain Health.

The sessions are:

  • Brain Health Equity in the African American Community -- October 6 from 2PM to 3PM
  • Dementia 101 (parts 1 and 2) -- October 13 and 20 from 2PM to 3:30PM
  • Risk Factors and Prevention for Healthy Brains -- November 17 from 2PM to 3PM
  • Brain Health Equity in the Hispanic/Latinx Community -- December 8 from 2PM to 3PM
