Denver Public Library is excited to announce that card holders now have access to Freegal Music+ thanks to funding from Strong Library, Strong Denver supported by the Denver Public Library Fund.
Freegal is an ad-free, unlimited streaming music platform that provides access to millions of songs from 200+ genres. Many new songs are added to Freegal every month. You can listen to trending songs, build and explore playlists, or simply enjoy a classic album.
In addition to unlimited streaming, our Freegal subscription also allows each card holder to download five songs per week. These MP3 files are DRM-free (Digital Rights Management-free – yours to keep for personal use) and compatible with any MP3 player or device. Please note that some songs are not available to download because of licensing restrictions.
You can use Freegal with their free app available for iOS, Android, or Amazon, or directly from your browser on any device. Come into the library and use our Wi-Fi to download and stream music if you don’t have internet at home. All you need is your library card and password to access Freegal and start listening to music!
