In conjunction with the Biennial of the Americas, the Denver Public Library is displaying an exhibit of inspirational photography from Hazlo Ahora (Do it Now), in Mexico called De la Discapacidad (the ABC of Disability). The exhibit will be on display in Schlessman Hall at Central Library through July.
The Biennal is a month-long cultural celebration of innovation, imagination and the artistic achievement of the Western Hemisphere, hosted by the City of Denver. The exhibit also is a fitting way to recognize the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The Montbello Branch Library will reopen on Friday, July 2 at 10 a.m. after completion of an extensive renovation that was part of the Better Denver Bond Program.
The branch was previously scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, June 29, but the fire inspection has been rescheduled, delaying the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy needed before we can open the building to the public.
The building is undergoing many improvements to accommodate customers, making it a safer, more user-friendly environment. Upgrades were also made to heating and cooling systems to make them more energy efficient.
