Pregnant butch : nine long months spent in drag

by A. K. Summers

Reviewer Rating:

A unique graphic novel about one person's pregnancy experience. How many pregnant women have to tell their landlord no, I'm not getting fat, I'm having a baby--and then go on to explain that no, they're not adopting? Teek's experiences questioning her own identity, desirability, with various medical providers, and reasons...

When "What to Expect" just isn't enough.

Countdown to baby? Let DPL help you prepare for the arrival of your little one with our massive collection of baby books and dvds. Besides, what else are you going to read in the waiting room?

If you're anything like me, the minute you find out you're pregnant you'll immediately go out and purchase your own brand new copy of What to Expect When You're Expecting.  If you're anything like me, you'll curl up in bed with it and study it religiously until you fall asleep at 7:00 p.m.--if you can stay up that late in your first trimester. If you're anything like me, you'll soon find yourself dreaming about car-seat/stroller combos and infant layettes.
