Looking for a great book to read? We're here to help! Connecting readers with books to love is something we’ve been proud to do for a long time. And this week, we’re pleased to introduce a new online service that makes it easier than ever to request a personalized reading list.
Click here to access the request form. Let us know a little bit about your reading tastes – your favorite (and least favorite) books and authors, and what kinds of books you’re in the mood to read. A readers’ advisory librarian will create a custom booklist for you based on your responses. Your list will include up to five titles and will arrive by email within a week.
While you’re waiting for your list to arrive, you can take advantage of the other resources we offer for readers:
Fresh City Life My Branch has an event for you this week, whether you want to talk books, get recipes for your picnics, learn mahjongg or flower arranging, or hear about the history of NASA's Apollo program.
There are 2 opportunities to join in on a book discussion this week:
Does summer mean relaxing with a good book? Then try the Between the Covers Book Discussion Group on Tuesday, June 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ross-Cherry Creek Branch. We'll be discussing Spooner by Pete Dexter.
