Denver’ s 147-year-old Zion Baptist Church and the Denver Public Library’s Creating Your Community grant program present the “I Do” on-line photographic project about African Americans holy matrimonial vows. The project features photographs of weddings, anniversaries, vow renewals, and a wedding dress display. We will be available to scan your “I Do” photos.
The library will celebrate the end of the Summer of Reading Program with special activities for the whole family! All ages. No registration is required.

If you have a favorite Colorado activity, destination, or historical event, and also enjoy those marshmallow Peeps that surface this time of year, join History Colorado and the Denver Public Library for our Peep Your Colorado Contest! Create a shoebox-sized diorama of Peeps engaging in Colorado activities or posed at popular Colorado landmarks.
A party to celebrate the bricks and the books! The party will include painting with bricks, pin the head on the LEGO guy, LEGO Bingo, and a guess how many LEGO's are in the jar contest. We will also be judging entries in the building contest. The theme of the building contest is Building Books! Choose a favorite book and make a LEGO design based on that book. Pick up an entry form at the Park Hill Library!
