Create your very own eco-friendly t-shirt scarves. Handmade by you, they are a cheerful way to add a little spice to your life. Shirts of various colors are supplied! Come learn the basic hand weaving technique used to create the “Ojo de Dios” (God's Eye) symbol. This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to play with color and is a great hands-on activity for all ages.
This workshop is presented by Chicano Humanities and Arts Council (CHAC), a collective of artists dedicated to promoting Chicano/Latino art and culture. There is no cost to attend and light refreshments will be provided.
