We’re surrounded by technology, but not many people learn how computers actually work. Learning basic computer programming concepts can help nurture creativity and problem solving skills. At this Hour of Code event, there will be a variety of fun computer science related activities for people of all ages and skill levels to try. Age 6 and up.
A book club for grades 2-3. This month we will be celebrating one year of the Genre Chat Book Club! Participants will each be reading a different “mystery”book to share at our meeting. Each book will be wrapped and you won’t know what the title is until you check it out. Read it and report back to the group if you liked it or not! Pick up your book at the reference desk. We will be making buttons with our button machines for our craft.
