Reviewer Rating:

This is a beautifully illustrated story of a shelter cat being adopted and taken home by a boy—told entirely in haiku!  It is very sweet and touching, and perfect for anyone who has ever adopted a shelter animal.  I believe this book may also serve as a good introduction to poetry.
