Reviewer Rating:

I am as fascinated by Tesla's genius as I am by his diminished (but thankfully changing) role in history. And while Seifer does provide some insightful research into Telsa's innovations in electricity, radio and even sustainability, I found myself annoyed by his dichotomous writing style. In one paragraph, he'll be detailing interesting primary source material to nearly Biblical "begat" proportions, and in the next he'll drift off into emotionally charged speculation.

If you can get through the author's shortcomings, there's a lot of eye-opening history here and an intriguing view of one of the most amazing inventors and scientific thinkers ever.
