This book is a pleasure to read. The three strands of lives being lived in New York City are woven together around the topic of waste… I really didn’t love the way this book ended, it was a little too neat, and weird, really. That said, I couldn’t stop reading it, and each set of characters was written so fully. I will hold one scene with me forever, about scavenging for food and a trash compactor. Read this if you like an introspective and amusing look at the human condition in our modern day and age.
