Charles and Eli Sisters are two of the most notorious gunslingers in Oregon territory and northern California in 1851. They were hired by the Commodore to hunt and kill Hermann Warm and steal his “formula.” Along the way, they meet a variety of interesting characters and face off with men no more dangerous or lacking in morals than themselves. Eli, the kinder and more consciousness of the two brothers, falls in love with any woman who is kind to him and often displays random acts of kindness wherever he goes. Charles on the other hand, is fierce and deadly and makes no apologies for any of his actions, unless it concerns his brother. At times the story is very humorous and ironic. We see both brothers’ characters challenged as they discover their moral compass along the way. This story is an unexpected delight!
