This is my favorite new cookbook--I had to buy a copy so I wouldn't keep the library's copy out forever! Everything I've tried so far--Thai Coconut Curry Soup with Chicken, Pine Nut & Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Maple Pork Chops with Sweet Potato Bacon Hash, Pork Florentine, Sesame Pork Cutlets, Summer Vegetable Tamale Pie, Taragon Chicken & Egg Noodles--everything has tasted great & been easy to put together. I love the explanations at the beginning of each recipe as to why/how it works and why certain ingredients were chosen. It's organized into sections on soups, salads, different meats & seafood, vegetarian entrees, pasta, pizza & sandwiches, and stir fries, curries, and Asian noodles, which makes it easy to find a recipe that suits the ingredients you have on hand or your mood. There are also tips on things like technique, shopping, prep, side suggestions, and food storage throughout. Satisfying, tasty meals--I can't wait to try more of these recipes!
