Reviewer Rating:

As Blue writes a story about his dad's death, his feelings, and the town's bully, Hopper, he becomes aware of the fragile lines that separate reality and imagination.  His dreams and actions coincide very closely with those of the main character of his story, Savage. Savage lives in the woods and can barely speak.  At times he is furious and at times he glimpses love. Through illustrations and words, this graphic novel explores how individuals may have many aspects of themselves. Does Blue?
