Don Tillman is an unmarried university professor with Asperger's. Though he is intelligent and attractive, he cannot find a woman who he can maintain a relationship with. He starts what he calls the “Wife Project” to find a compatible woman for him to marry.  Throughout the “Wife Project” he meets, Rosie, who he believes is the least compatible of all the candidates. They don’t necessarily hit it off, but Rosie needs his help. Rosie desperately wants to find out who her father is and with Don’s knowledge of genetics, together they think they can figure it out. As they set out together on what Dan begins to call the “Rosie Project” a relationship between the two develops.
This book is laugh out loud funny. Don’s lack of social skills puts him in very interesting (and at times, hilarious) situations.
