Reviewer Rating:

Nathaniel P is a writer on the verge of publishing his first novel. This book is a chronicle of his relationships inside the world of the young and hip literati of Brooklyn. In spite of the title, it has little to do with love (a word that is barely mentioned maybe one time as nothing but a drunken mumble). Told through the sometimes charming and always smug voice of Nate himself, this story manages to be both fun and thought provoking. I found myself being charmed and disgusted by Nate and his friends in turns: but, the book itself was charming throughout.
