Reviewer Rating:

Alternating between meditations on inner life (depression, self-worth, self-perception), childhood anecdotes (an obsession with eating a whole cake, getting lost in the woods), and dog stories (trying to train a dog who just doesn't get it), this book made me laugh out loud in places. It also has an amazing description of the experience of depression. There's a reason Brosh's blog (of the same name) is so popular, and this book is easy to read in small chunks or all at once. Fun illustrations and observations that might make you realize you're not quite so alone.
