Reviewer Rating:

Successful New Yorkers, Colt and Francie Hart, weren't in the market for a country house but when they happen across a brooding nineteenth century manse on a day drive through Pennsylvania, they decide they can't live without it. The Harts soon discover, however, that their individual reasons for wanting the house are very different and they begin to question their general compatibility. Interspersed with chapters about the house's previous occupants, The Good Neighbor is an authentic exploration of couples' dynamics and an overall entertaining read.
