One of the cons of eating gluten-free is the fact that most everything you previously ate is now off limits. The glaring absence of delicious foods is very obvious...especially during the holidays. No pies, rolls, pastries, or Christmas tree cookies makes for a very dismal Christmas. I picked up this book right before  the holidays and was surprised that all the recipes were simple, affordable and sounded delicious. There were old classic favorites as well as things I had never heard of. All the recipes even work well for those who aren't eating Gluten-free...there is really no difference in taste. And if I can make a suggestion...the Garlic Cheese rolls were a huge hit on Thanksgiving!
