Reviewer Rating:

This graphic novel portrayed Ann Sullivan's, teacher of Helen Keller, shows the shared bond that Ann Sullivan and Helen Keller had.  Both people were visually impaired and through experiences that Ann Sullivan had faced growing up (flash backs throughout the graphic novel)  she was able to open the world to Helen Keller by teaching her to accept who she was and to accept who she could be.
