by Edward Gorey

Reviewer Rating:

As a child I would plop myself down infront of the TV to watch Mystery on PBS, now it wasn’t because I was a huge fan of mysteries but because I was a huge fan of those creepy, chilling, and strange illustrations that introduced the show, it was only like ten or fifteen seconds of cartooning but i was hooked! So began my love affair with the work of Edward Gorey, from his books that are vaguely suitable for children like "The Shrinking of Treehorn" to his more obscene works like "The Curious Sofa" his melancholy and macabre stories and images make me feel like gingerale is tingling in my toes! Love him!
