MakerCamp is a free week-long introduction to maker skills and tools for teens ages 10-18. Each day there will be a new tool to learn ranging from laser cutting to cross stitching to programming. So come join us in the Hampden ideaLAB, you do not need to register, but space is limited. 
Tuesday: Cross Stitching - learn the basics of how to cross stitch 
Wednesday: Make a Beat with Garage Band - learn about Apple's music software and how to make a beat
Thursday: Screen Printing - learn how to screen print and make your own custom t-shirt
Friday: Laser Embossing - make a laser cut pendent that will emboss on paper with a book press
Saturday: Laser Cut Topographic Map - make a topographic map with a laser cutter inspired by Colorado's elevations
