Colorful Coloradans: Biographies for Kids - Information about remarkable people from Colorado history. This resource is put together by the Western History and Genealogy Department of Denver Public Library and does not require a library card to access.

Some interesting people to get you started:

Burnis McCloud - Photographer who created the largest visual record of Denver's African-American history

Rachel Noel - A pioneer in education, Rachel Noel helped integrate the Denver Public School system and provide equal opportunities to all Denver students.

Luis Rovira - Judge who worked to modernize the Colorado courts, and was the United States' first ever Hispanic chief justice.
