Yi-Ting Hsu is a self-taught artist, freelance clarinetist, and teacher of clarinet and piano. Ms. Hsu grew up in Taiwan and immigrated to the United States of America in 2000. In 2016, Ms. Hsu was commissioned by the Colorado Chamber Orchestra to create a series of watercolor paintings for the Colorado Chamber Orchestra’s Winter Carnival concert.

This is the first solo exhibition of Yi-Ting Hsu’s artwork inspired by nature and music, consisting of drawings, watercolors, and acrylic paintings.

“Artwork” highlights the continued exploration of artist James A.Dixon's point of view. His art aesthetic includes mixed media with an emphasis in transparency, textured surfaces, improvised asymmetric orientations and visceral affections.
