Program Description

Event Details

Virtual Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize, relax, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe, you can just be yourself -- without worrying about remembering or forgetting.

Today's Theme – History of the Colorado Railroad Museum

Description – The Colorado Model Railroad Museum houses one of the largest model railroad layouts in the world. This museum houses a 5,500 sq. foot scenic representation of the beautiful landscapes you would see in Colorado and Oregon.  The museum is a unique visitor experience in that it is operated like the real world where trains are dispatched and individually controlled by an engineer.  Learn more about rail history and how this museum has impacted the local community and the nation.
